How do I change "Home" to my keyword.
Cant find where to edit it
Also where to put "Ranking No 1" and do you need to add any further text to this

Would love to test thes 2 mehods, to see what effect they have on my serps

Here is an example:

</ul>

Replace "Your Keyword Here" with your primary keyword. Also don't forget to use proper H1 and H2 tags on your site. The H1 tag should be your primary keyword, and H2 tags your secondary keywords.

This is an example off one of my blog's top navigation menu. Your structure may vary depending on your theme/template. Some of them use LI tags and some don't. So look at how your template is displaying the nav menu and adjust accordingly.

PS: Most of the top nav menus are located in header.php

Most importantly, rembember to use "nofollow" in some of your internal links, to optimize your internal link structure so that the PR of your pages flow mostly to the pages you want to rank.

I have a domain with keyword in it. It's a WordPress site. For example, let's say I have www,bigleftieskeyword,com

I have links to my contact us, sitemap, about-us, and privacy-policy pages in my footer - which is on every page.

Is it a good idea to link them like this?

Ok it's time to post a little one again. Also 101 or maybe 202 for 505 don't b*tch me yet.
There's a lot of posts regarding d0f0ll0w or not back links. This is only important in the case of d0f0llow because you "drink" the PR juice from the sites you backlink from. But as Big G states clearly (if any doubts refer to wykypedia to check the "page" algorithm) Authority websites Matter.
The most IMPORTANT BACKLINKS are from authority sites, no matter if they are do*F0ll0w* or not.
This is the case or the first example I mentioned here. Even if it is with anchor or not authority sites rule. Why? because they get indexed many times a day and there are two main reasons for that:
1) Direct traffic (either referral or engines traffic)
2) sitemap and robots files.
If you dont have these 2 your site can get a high PR but at the end you won't rank for anything. Example seob00k.
On sitemap theres a few things to tell and on robots please don't exclude G Crawler or you will rank in yahoo and bing only . Many examples of robots files have been posted here so I don't need to do it again.
I just bought a domain 4 days ago and the site its not up (I need to hire content writers ) This domain was bought for the purpose of showing How things can be achieved without going nuts. the website will be for information purposes and will not have anything to make money (if any can collaborate with the content It will be nice and will be highly appreciated) . It will have only text nothing else, as I stated just to prove to the pros that I am honest and I'm just trying to help people in an huge market where there is space for all.
This site will be donated after the proof to this forum . Then and only then Diamond Dave can Make $$$$$ out of it.
I will continue to post the dirty little secrets at my own speed.
Content in English will be highly appreciated and will benefit both the forum and also the members Noobs and pros. Post here If you can write only one article a week.

One more before I go to sleep. It's for noobs so don't blame me.
If you main keyword in understand and you second most important is undertanding noobs. then:

Page title H1 tag : understand - understanding noobs - understandnoobs.com
Page description H2 tag: This website is mainly to solve all issues regarding understanding noobs... etc
Keep an eye there are H1 to H6 tags.

To be able to make a proof for the pros, Today I started with a blog based on wp that I had laying for some time and of course it's a little advantage mainly because the blog has PR3, and it was mainly based on software.
What I did: Changed the template to genesis + prose and I'm going for some quite difficult keywords: the main one is: "Seo Software" the second is for now ebooks but I'll maybe change it, and many more that I will be posting here.
The domain name has nothing to do with the keywords. So will see. Maybe I will get link assistant pissed in a few months.

My site has a HTML sitemap in its footer. Are you saying that I should also create an XML sitemap with the sole purpose of submitting it in Google Webmaster Tools? - Even though all my pages are already indexed?
