NuCaptcha - The end of autocaptcha?

What do we think guys, I give it a week before someone finds a way to take a few pictures and analyse the data.

There's one good reason that this won't ever catch on, and that's because it's flash.

I disable flash unless i'm going to a tube site, and then it's permitted on a site-by-site basis. This concept has been tried before.

Maybe it'll work now that iPhone and Droid both support embedded flash, but I doubt it.

CaptchAd is doing this for 2 years now - this is not new.

Problem with analysing videos:
Playtime*Framerate = huge data mass to analyse
For every single ad there's a bulk of possible questions. And as every (re)visit you get another ad from another vendor, there're millions of possible questions, you can be asked for as verification.

I'm not sure, if this can be automated within the next week.

95% have installed (and enabled) the flash player plugin, so what's your point?
Furthermore, don't you think HTML5 will also do that job!?

If the tool is smart enough to load either html5 or flash depending what your browser is currently set up for. That will be king.

But if it's only in flash and my broswer doesn't have flash enable I can never get into what i wanted.

If that type of CAPTCHA gets popular, I'll have it decoded in less than 1 week. It's going to be hard for the OCRs but not a challenge for Human Solvers.

Human solvers are not an universal answer for everyone. Some of us need lots of captchas to be solved AT THE SAME TIME. An impossible to OCR captcha would be a very bad news. Hope this day never happens!

There already are captchas that can't be processed with OCR. ReCaptcha for example. I've written a few OCR apps that can successfully process recaptcha at a 10-15 percent success rate. Problem is that after so many failed attempts from an IP they increase the captchas difficulty making OCR impossible.

Human services like Autocapture will have this tackled with in a week or two of it coming out - it's not an issue at all. Chuck out the OCR and pay the fractions of a cent for human solving its not an issue at all.
