Please explain ASAP to clear this up as I can assure you that my sites don't have pop ups and won't set off your "security alarms" - please confirm the URL of the site you're referring to.

I've actually deployed your methods on one of my blogs.

After some research on the matter of copyright, how do we deal with DMCA takedown notices if and/or they arrive in our inboxes?

or better in the beginning to ensure the feed origin / author allows commercial uses for their feeds. in other words, if we are monetizing via adsense or amazon or ebay, then we must check the terms of each feed we auto post does not state the non commercial clause.

for example, g00gle and yah00 news are great sources for custom keyword feed creation, but their tos restricts commercial useage. so we can not place ads in relation to those types of feeds.

this situations reminds me to revisit all my feed sources and check the tos for feed usage.

Of all the blogs I have and all the time they've been running I have NEVER had a complaint, let alone a DMCA notice. This isn't a dig at anyone but please don't spend time looking for reasons that may stop you. Pretty much just get to it, do it and get started.

IF you should receive a DMCA notice then simply comply with it. It's no great shakes. You could easily waste a week researching stuff like this but all you're doing is wasting your time and energy in looking for reasons for this not to work.

As the phrase says "Just do it" and if you get a DMCA notice then "cross that bridge IF you come to it".

I couldn't agree more with this statement. I honestly believe people look for reasons and excuses not to try something because of the risks. I risk my life driving in to work evey day but I don't use that as an excuse to quit my job.

I started auto blogging in May of this year. Although I took a different road than Shez, I have been fairly successful and contine to see my monthly IM money grow each month. I have read many "but what if this happens" posts during the past 5 months and so far none of those horror stories has happened to me.

My advice is for people to stop looking under their beds for the boogie man and start making money online.

Just wanted to say thanks. Went ahead and setup my first autoblog and a matching twitter accont.. I'm using all the plugins and bought WP Robot. So far so good. I started my blog 3 days ago and I'm already indexed by google and have over 30 spiders hitting my site on a daily basis (I think that's a lot). Receiving about 5-10 hits a day but I'm sure traffic will increase over time.

Maybe I missed this answer somewhere in the thread, but, I am manually removing hundreds of "spam" comments on my blogs, and its time consuming, especially when dealing with multiple sites. Any suggestions ?

Use the Askimet plugin that comes with every WP installation, it will take care of most of the spam comments you have.

You can mass delete a lot of comments as well and don't worry if you remove some legit comments with the spam ones.

I have a few different themes that I use for some of my sites.

The problem that I am running into is that some of these themes have sliders and have features that show thumbnails for the posts.

Now I cannot get them to work with WP Robot. Images do not show.


If anyone is using the themes like gazette from Woo Themes, or the THesis theme and have gotten it to show all of the images automatically when it post; please share how to do this.

WP Robot has never been too clever when it comes to posting relevant articles to blogs to be honest but it's pretty darn good at everything else that it does.
