Hosting Nameservers or Domain Nameservers using A Record?

Is there any advantage to using your domain registrar's nameservers and using A Record to point to hosting ip address as opposed to just using the hosting's nameservers. I've got offshore hosting and an offshore anonymous domain registrar. I just wanted to know which option you guys use to remain as anonymous as possible.

Yeah, setting nameservers will have that server's DNS manage your domain/subdomains.

Using an A Record will only resolve that one domain/subdomain.

In other words, using the nameserver --> subdomains and mail servers will automatically be set up and updated when you add/delete entries.

Using an A Record, well.. you have to add every single entry that you wish to have.
