Saw a Great Method Used Today

Well, I was actually trying to find a new movie online, and wanted to watch it for free.

I won't say what movie, but I found something that added a little twist to the movie watching site idea, and it seems like it would be highly effective, so I might have to try it out now, and figured I would share it as well.

So the idea is ... find a movie that is coming out in a week or two and be the first to grab onto that movie.
Make it a movie that lots of people will want to see, so anything popular really.

Make an exact domain match for what would be searched "watch (name of movie) dot com"

Make a layout for that movie and have the TRAILER of the movie locked behind a CPA gateway on the main page, visible to whoever hits the site.


Seems like a plan, and the site I stumbled across was ranked number one for a huge movie that just released.

Just a thought, so let me know what you think.

Yeah, seems like it could do well despite what people are saying. found a .info with 5,000 uniques good keyword domain and low competition for front page of goodle.

Might buy it and give it a SB blast or something and see how it turns out.

worst thing that could happen is I lose a buck on domain name.

Truthfully it doesnt work that well because you need a lot of traffic and also because the payout sucks.

Yeah, just crunched some numbers.

Lets say, ranking #1 for 5k keyword = probably around 3k UV's a month

Say around $0.20 per person with a 10% conversion rate

= $60

Probs won't try it I guess unless I get really bored lol

This is an old but proven method. However I would watch out with the domain name ( copyright issue )

this is definitely not new. there are so many sites out there that people can watch movies without having to give out their name and email address that most people will just hit the back button and find a different site to watch the movie.

Lol, this thread is dumb at so many levels...

1- trademark issues with the domain
2- fake content, which would get you booted out of the program and not paid
3- many newbies are already doing it, so getting ranked will be too much work for peanuts

Well, if you can make this idea work for you then more power to you but I think it's been done to death and there is too much risk for too little reward.
