Democrat, Republican, Independent or something else? Which would you consider yourself and why?

What happened to that thread that said we're not allowed to talk about politics? I didn't see anything about it in the rules, but I know we're not supposed to unless something has changed.

I also usually consider myself a Libertarian. Liberal social views+ conservative economic views.

But for the most part I just think all politicians are assholes.

They are all puppets of the same masters.
Each party is so far extreme to the 'left' or 'right' that that go 360 degrees and each give us the same end result.
Total Power in the hands of few.

Federal Government is an antiquated idea anymore. We gave the power to government in the name of progress. Society has outgrown its need for federal governments. At least in 1st world countries.

We need a federal government, but just a very small one. After all, someone has to run the military and represent the countries.
