So I got 80 Thousand!! What should I do?

If I were you, I'll build 10 niche blogs every month and hire a team of writers to update each of them every month. And then get a team of backlink builders to submit articles, create forum profiles & distribute press release.

$90 for domains
$39 per month for seo hosting with several c-class ip
$600 for website content for the first month
$500 for backlinks for 10 blogs

$1230 for the first month
$2460 the 2nd month
$3690 for 3rd month and it goes on from there

Maybe stop building new blogs after you reach about 100 blogs and maintain the existing ones. I think by the 3rd month, you should have some following and each blog will make you at least $10 per day consistently.

If everything goes smoothly, you'll spend $12.k per month on content creation and backlinks, and still earn at least $17.7k per month with your blog network.

I haven't try it yet & not sure if it'll work but that's what I'll do if I have that type of money lying around right now ;)

Cheers!

Rich Dad Poor Dad taught me real business, and investing. Thats why im cashflowguy.

I'm trying to move offline. I'm getting tired of sitting by a CPU 24 hours day and a CPU business is good money.

Fix one CPU for $50 times 31 days in month equal over $1500 a month. Thats only if I fix 1 CPU a day not including other sales

Sooooooo you want to go from a very low overhead business (internet marketing) to a high overhead risky venture? Then you want to use debt to fund your high risk business. An earlier poster had it right: Pay off the house, and use the money that you USE to pay your mortgage to fund your business life. I would say pay 50% of the mortgage off and slowly use the other half for some super ********** internet marketing plan.

There's no reason why you should be staring in front of the computer all day-- That's a low level player's burden.

Don't pay off your mortgage, instead buy another asset that does it for you like a dividend bearing stock or rental suite, then you always have free money coming in to pay your mortgage and you have 2 assets appreciating.

Also, computers are a commodity now days. People don't fix them, they discard them and get an upgraded model. Not a good business to compete in.

Definitely dont pay your mortgage. You could put it all in silver, but i'd put some of it into advertising costs because now is the time to gain market share in any business.

What is your true passion? Build a business around that... even if it doesnt look like it could make money (trust me, if you can grabs peoples attention, you can make money).

To be more precise, I started a website about something im passionate about (trance music and culture) in December 09 as a personal blog about trance related things i liked... then somehow it turned into a business this year :) and im starting to see the infinite levels I can take that business to, how i can monetize it, how i can use it to start new businesses in the same industry etc...

For my industry, the best advertising I have used (and am still using) is facebook ads for pages. Im getting around 400-500 likes per day at the moment for only $6 per day. I made a landing page on facebook so that people who click on my add land here: http://www.facebook.com/www.TranceMix.org?v=app_4949752878 so not only can i send information to their news feed, or updates section under messages, i can also build a double opt-in email list (thanks to feedburner) and boost my iTunes ranking (thanks to that iTunes button :))

I would put 30k in facebook advertising for your dream business over whatever time-period you choose. Then put 50k in silver... as your savings :). I bought silver on August 17th and it has been averaging a 15% ROI per MONTH, not annum, MONTH. Thanks to governments printing dough... and with the inflation race starting, its only going to go up.

Dont pay the mortgage... thats the kind of thinking that employees and poor people have. You can get a return that is higher than your mortgage repayments just by investing in silver.

I use http://silver.bullionvault.com because when you buy silver from them, you actually own the silver, it is stored in a London vault which is fully insured. $50,000 of silver would be a bitch to store yourself... and pointless when bullionvault can take care of that for you.

Remember the saying dude - Money generates money. If you spend this money not generating money probably you'll never generate money.

Do #2 but then don't open a computer shop because they don't make any money

I have no idea about tax systems work in US so I can't give advice about that.. However I will advice you to invest in few profitable businesses (online or offline) that require little to no intervention on your part..

Go to flippa, look out for sites that are on sale. Look for sites that have been there for few months or years and are making stable income every month. Do not fall for websites that have made 1000 in 3 days thru CPA. Similarly look for offline businesses that can be run profitably without taking too much of your time (franchises probably)

This way you can be assured of making good returns on your money. Do not invest all your money into such ventures though. I would suggest maximum of 40%-50%.

Good luck

Whatever you do... Don't pay off your mortgage then turn around and do a home euqity loan.

Doesn't make sense as home equity loans have higher interest unless your mortgage is very old and has a very high interest. In that case, you should refinance.

But paying off a loan just to turn around and borrow that money back at a higher interest won't make sense.

I'd say keep the money in a 6 month CDs at the highest interest rate you can find while you think about what you want to do with the money. You never know when something will go wrong or an opportunity will arise. Having cash on hand will allow you to be be flexible.

If you invest in something at say $40k then drop $20k into your mortgage to save you money in interest and keep the other $20k on hand in case something comes up. If you lose your job or something, you won't be able to get a home equity loan so better to keep cash on hand.

I agree. It is hard for people to get loans, even with great credit, from banks. I'll make my money work form me. There is good dept and bad debt. Get the book Rich Dad Poor Dad it will explain what you need to do in great detail.
