Great thread you've got going on here Tyler,
I just wanted to expand on your already sound method.
1. Finding good author pics: Basically you want you're picture to look as amateurish as possible. Some free photo sites have decent pictures, but you can go to sites like hot or not, or any picture sharing site and take those (may get in trouble, but slim).
2. Buy a .info: Reason being; they are cheap (1 to 2 dollars) and site. info/suggests/affilproduct will always look better than a affiliate link or shorturl type link.
When picking out a domain name pick something general so it won't look crazy when you have another affiliate product. An example of something you don't want would be getbigbiceps. com/recommends/warcraft-guide.
3. Write articles and spin them; Just like Ericcson said, with TBS you can get articles around 90% unique if you want. The key is quality and quantity, you want your spun articles to sound just as good as the original.
Spinning takes time, spinning a article in 5 minutes will make a horrible article that reads like crap! What I do is rewrite my articles on the sentence level and also phrase level if I can make it sound good. If you are too lazy to put in the effort then don't bother.
4. Submit to more article directories using different titles (hopefully more traffic and sales

).
5. Want to see a sample of his review writing style? Download his ebook and search for his articles (hint he has a picture of his targeted keyword)
6. Create videos: Open up Windows Video Maker and turn your articles into a video. Add some sort of audio whether it be you reading your article or mood music.
7. Submit videos via tubemogul
8. Bumping votes: While he is having success with the refresh button, I'll be using free proxies and bumping my votes. To me this is just a simple security measure, because if they ever change and want to see if those votes are unique I want them to see different IP addresses.
9. Back linking to your articles: Since articlesbase already has a PR of 6 we are just going to mooch off of it. Blog spam or do w/e you think is best to create back links to your article. This isn't your money site so you don't have to worry as much.
10. Don't limit yourself to just Clickbank. Use sites like plimus, paydotcom, click2sell, amazon, etc. (What you can promote is endless really)
Other things to consider: Remember you are a marketer now...
The more people catch wind to this idea, the chances are high it will be harder for this exact method to work. Don't limit yourself to just articlesbase, try to get as much exposure as you can.

McDonald's wouldn't be as successful today if they only marketed with one billboard in one location and never expanded.
Hope this helps and gives you a few more things to add into Tyler's plan of action.
