Before I go ahead and literally rape this hole in the market, how do I double check I'm not wasting my time? Do any of you pros have any tips before I steam into this like a dribbling loony on crack? I need tips on research, and generic ways to exploit this hole.

The niche is one that is absolutely massive, and very competitive, but I think I have found a massive hole. But I'm naturally sceptical. Help!

I'm drooling here.

edit: Sorry, I'm being clear as mud here. The niche is domain flipping. But I can't tell you what the hole is.

Thanks for the offer Peter, but seriously, all I need is advice on how to research domain flipping properly. What the price trends are versus domain actual calue, age etcetera, just looking for some resources.

namepros dot com, dnforum, and domainnamewire have some interesting industry news and forums that might make for some good reading about the name market

then look at how and why profitable flipping sites - tdnam, sedo, and flippa for starters - have made their riches

there's also a book about the domain name market, it came out 2-3 years ago but still has some interesting reading about names and the business around them

oh and take a look at frank schilling's writings, he is the man when it comes to domain names
