Don't quote me on that number, its just a number to illustrate that one small link to hubpage does not improve hubpage authority or seo weight. Hubpage with or without that link is the same strong site... You do not improve their weight with that single social link.. Or even if you improve the improvement is so small that hubpages barely feels that, what more - your main page barely feels that passed to your site as well.
I know that its just a technique, I am asking the OP to elaborate whats the point of that particular backlink. Or anybody else who understand the purpose of my mentioned link.

How long on average are your articles? Like about a page in word or so?

And also on your blogspot pages, I'm guessing that you're just creating a blog with one post that's your article?

Also, are you just linking from the article itself or the about the author section too?

My articles are 400-500 words.
About blogspot, yes, you'r right, I only create 1 page/article blog.
I'm linking from about author section also.

So if I build a page an hubpages and do not build links to it, it means that there is not much point of linking from that hubpage to my money site? Because that hubpage of mine is backlinkless? Ok, hubpage by itself is authority site, so building a hub and linking from it to your money or satellite site has it's value. But.. when you build backlinks to your hub (inner page of hubpages), it becomes more popular, ranks better in se's and gives your links better link juice

Ok now I get it. However one more question:
I link from spotback.com to my hubpage and hubpage pass some of that juice to my site.
What if instead of linking from spotback.com to my hub I would link from spotback.com to my main site? In this case my main site would get 100% the juice of spotback.com backlink instead of spotback.com being filtered through hubapge, then blogspot and then squidoo? I mean in this case I won't get 100% of what spotback.com could give me if I just linked directly from spotback to my main site?

Just wondering if you guys are linking to other sites from the 2.0 sites as well (like linking to authority sites, etc.)? It seems that it would leak link juice rather then keeping it strong like:

Blogspot ----Only links to---->Squidoo----Only links to---->Hubpages

But then it also would seem more natural, and maybe more legit in G's algorithm.

Just wondering what you're all doing as I'm trying to set one up!

That's why we started the double syntax

I disagree, there are only 18 original articles required for a link network like this one. That's not that many, could be done in a couple days if you put your mind to it.

Unless you are good at advanced spinning techniques I wouldn't even bother trying anymore, Google isn't stupid and the normal spin syntax's aren't going to fly nowadays.

No. You can host your sites on the same ip, but don;t interlink them!!!
