I've been to multiple tech/networking forums and I can't find a working solution. Netgear can't help me because this is a refurbished piece of shit that Time Warner gives you.
Ok so out of nowhere (I'm on someone else's computer right now) my adapter won't connect to the internet. It says "Local Area Connection" Doesn't Have A Valid IP Configuration.
I've tried the following: Powercycling the modem, Renewing/Releasing the IP, Restarting and Uninstalling the Network adapter multiple times, Restarting the computer, I even did a clean reboot of the computer back to factory condition, I've tried looking for the "Bonjour" service or ID_Stringxxx that people recommend doing and nothing.
I'm out of solutions and who ever can solve this wins $100.
Edit: This is a my-computer issue only.. it's done this before but only for a couple hours.. then one of the many restarts I did just fixed it.. but this one has been going for an entire day now.
