do people use software to register? I saw people selling buying 1000s of profiles so I asume they do. Does it mean its not worth to do it manually? How much will your rankings improve after you do these 10 profiles as an example? And I mean high pageranks is for their home pages, not the pages your link will be on (signature or bio)

yes people use software, but high authority forums are hard to be used with software as they will have spam questions to be answered, yes the pages where your links wont be having any PR.. it depends upon ur site and competition, i am not sure how much this 10 links alon will improve your rankings but it is good place to leave links..
