How come my comment is the only one that does not get approved?

I tried commenting on a high PR blog and my comment never get's approved. Every time I leave a comment it says it is held by moderator before being approved. However, every other comment is approved almost instantly by looking at the date of the comments. Those left after mine get approved. I leave similar comments as the rest of the people (and most of it is same anyways) so it's not my comment that is the issue. I also switched IPs and and still get the message. Anyone know why this is happening?

I had previously left another comment on another post on the same domain, but now I'm not able to leave any more comments. Just weird why it's happening to me. I've even used a different computer and switched my IP, but still get that message. Any suggestions?

I just tried to comment from another comp and got the same message. Others that commented today have already been approved. I just don't get it why it's going on? I've used different site, name, email, weburl, IP, etc., but nothing works.

look at the previous posters, and see if they are using keywords as their name, also, have you actually read the article, and tried to post something relevant,

All the previous posters use their keyword as their name and leave just general comments...nothing that is really 100% relevant to the article. I followed the same pattern, but keep getting that your post is being held by the moderator where someone who posted after me go their post accepted right away.

this happens to me all the time.... and sometimes I go back several hours later to find my comment is there. Just post and don't check man, it will come to you.

It's like all those posts about "zomg my gewgl ranking has dropt halp"

Ya I don't worry about it since it's just one site, but now it's been like 3 days since I left the comment and it still doesn't show. All this time new comments after mine are being added daily to the post. Just don't know why it's happening to me.

another thing you will find ..
look at the dates.
if its a few months to a couple years old,
it is no longer being moderated.
i find this a lot when im making links.
a lot of bs comments, but they are from a couple months to a year ago.
i will leave a good comment but im guessing the moderator has A LOT of them on that post waiting and they will never happen

So often I come across a spammed site and there are ridiculously smappy comments, i.e. znxnyer link 1 zbxbxcyettr link 2 etc.

I'm ready for an easy victim when suddenly I find the blog to be moderated.

Simple fact is, previous easy targets go moderated all the time.

Luckily, they very often can't or don't bother clearing away the previous spam, so it looks like an easy target until we get that dreaded moderation message.

Its so frustrating when you take your time and research the topic and leave very relevant post just to find out it was not approved. I have gone back to leave another( this time nasty ) message to webmaster letting him know what I think about this kind of bias.
Some places are so funny when they all talk about blog spam while leaving their signature with url in it as it was not meant for spam . Most of the time I am just sick and tired so I blast it away instead.
