Hi all. I've just found this great forum and the people are so great I thought I'd ask your help and will start giving back also. I'm on about my 50th website. All have been indexed in a day or two until my current site which has not been indexed in a month. I'll post the link if the rules permit it because I'd really like your help and fresh eyes can make a lot of difference. I always do my sites as WP blogs. Yahoo has a good 200+ backlinks picked up and I know there are more out there than that. I've used all the common tools -- articles, social media, commenting, forum posting, directories, etc.

Google is finding the links for sure. They are crawling it daily though their bandwidth is substantially lower than the other spiders (other crawl data about equal). I'm also getting google alerts for the domain. I don't have hidden text or other bad black hat techniques. The only things I can think of that are different are the present low number of pages (5) and I may be slightly more aggressive at link building than normal but nothing ridiculous since there are only about 200 in yahoo in a month.

Thoughts or suggestions? I'd thought of putting up a bunch of yahoo answers etc to get up fast content and get indexed and then take it down in a few days and use 404s but just don't know.

Thanks for your input.

Welcome to the forum. If all your other sites are getting indexed and what you were doing worked fine, then start on new sites. It could be a million reasons why that one site does not get indexed. Personally I would not sit and ponder on one site, I would keep moving forward and keep building more sites. Try what you did before on about another 3 or 4 sites and see if they get indexed. If so, keep on working. Again, welcome.

Google has changed/it is changing is algo and it is testing stuff at present. If you visit webmasterword.com (which is the same forum where Matt Cutts posts) there is a lot of fuss about this. A lot of websites are experiencing jumps/ traffic increase or decrese abnormal Google spiders activity etc...dont worry in a month or even less it will be all finished

I found that the best way for a site to be indexed is social bookmarking. I always have success with this. Good luck bro.

Submit a sitemap through webmaster tools, wait a few days...if still no indexing then submit a request for reconsideration. What is the domain and I'll look at your site for google T&C errors

Howdy all and nice to meet you. I did all those weeks ago.

It won't let me post the site b/c it thinks it's link spam...and pretty good at detecting it btw. I threw up a bunch of yahoo answers etc last night to try to blow it out with content as my last hope. Original content was 5 solid content pages about how to collect child support with 3 ads total per page -- 1 sidebar, 1 content top, 1 content middle. All well optimized, but not overly -- 2% in post itself and 5-8% with sidebars and related posts etc. Meta was all optimized but not too much -- normal sentences, words actually topical etc.

Normally I would just move on and let it come around but this is the first site I've done with my gf. I tried blaming her but that didn't go over too well. Anyway, I really need to figure this one out.

It's childsupportday with the preferred ending.

^^ i blame mine for everything that i can hahaha
there are some topics i think G just craps on you for.
i have an awesome mortgage domain that they refuse to touch.
are there any other ads on it other than adsense??
i have found if you put things on a young site, other than adsense and content,
(like cpa/cj) down down down i go and i stay.

I can not post links. Ok so a good option is " Add your URL to Google". Type that on Google and you will find the link.

Have you tried blasting your site to a bunch of stat sites??? This has always worked for me.

submit your site with a sitemap, build links to it and submit a nice press release if you can afford the cash. All these things together will definently definently get your site indexed!

I had the same problem once. The site won't get indexed even after months. Bing and yahoo index it 1 day after I put it live. Did everything I could to make google index it but no luck. After a lot of digging I found that my domain was registered long time ago. The previous owner was pure blackhater. My domain has been put in to google's black list. It's is indexed now with 1 page (after 5 months). I think you should check the internet archive for your domain. If it was in bad neighborhood then just drop the domain and move on (register other domain will get your site indexed right away)

Mine too is a new domain and yet to get indexed in google, waiting from over 4 months

Thanks for all your input guys. I tried all those strategies long ago. I did submit for reconsideration and now I'm going to edit the content and move to a new domain. Could have something to do with the former user, but I'll just let that work its way out and keep building onward and upward.

If anyone has decent stat list please pm me. Mine is crap.

thanks,
Frank

Can I submit an autoblog to "google webmaster tools" will they deny me because of that? I know its dup content scraped from all over the web but so what will it get accepted?

not to sound harsh, but that is about the dumbest thing you can do.
the will NOT deny you.
they will DE-INDEX you about 10 times faster than if you dont

google hates autoblogs and if you are reviewed there will be no warnings.
just a de-index - no goodbyes, no thanks for showing up. GONE

So, how does an autoblog even get indexed, I got adsense on them I have been building links to them but the just cant seem to get indexed. My e-commerce site gets indexed but no one buys from an ecommerce site unless its amazon or egay.

if its a WP blog, go to feedlisting.com and submit your site via the submit button.
if your site is not indexed in 48 hours, you have issues with the domain
