Wow this really sucks guys. I actually feel bad for what happened. Now this just confirms my decision of not JV'ing with anyone I don't know in real life.

I'd rethink that thought if I were you... I've had several very good JVs and am in the middle of one right now with a guy I never met IRL. In fact, he actually handles the majority of the money end of our business.
Not only that, he and I are in the process of starting another JV as an offshoot of the current one... never met the guy, he lives in a country 5 time zones away from me and we are having a successful and profitable JV.
The internet business is a microcosm of real life business... there are going to be scammers but the majority of people you do business with are going to be stand up people.

He would have made alot more and probably continuous income if he was a trusted person...
anyway you can track his info while using ur account....send it off to the authorities...

he was probably a homeless person using internet cafe, when he saw a $1000 dollars to help with his coke addiction he took off with the money...dunno....sad shit...

im putting a curse on ambercombie right now, he will swim in a lake one time enjoying his stolen $$$,,a vicious pirahna will tear this fool apart. lol
old and common scam on eBay. something similar happened to me on eBay and the best you can do is learn from it and to avoid bad feedback and a paypal investigation is to give the buyers their money back(from your personal account if you no longer have the money) until you can get to the bottom of this.
to be honest you should have held on to the money until you received a tracking number or the item itself, could of even bought one from him to verify he was legit.

I saw that guys thread and figured he was likely a con artist, i cant believe people actually took him up on the offer.
He will likely come back in a few weeks claiming he was thrown in jail or his house burned down, or some other cock and bull story, and will probably then attempt to take people for a ride again.

If you talk to anyone who is willing to look into it more let me know. I have information on him as well as a bankwire that was sent to his bank that he picked up.
I am sure the feds could figure out who was on the other side of the bankwire right?
By the way, I got my very first negative feedback ever on ebay today because of this clown. Even though I refunded the buyer with my own money.

If he picked up a bankwire with the intent to defraud, that is a serious federal charge. People go to federal prison for wire fraud in the US.
