I just recently saw a commercial for The Scorpion King 2 and until then I had never heard of it or even knew they were making a new movie.. so as I'm watching the preview.. I notice.. Dwayne Johnson isn't even in the damn movie..

What the hell is wrong with people that they keep making these sequels without the main characters.

Another example.. The Punisher 2 isn't going to have the original guy for the Punisher.. they're getting someone completely different. This is one of my pet peaves.

I don't really watch much TV as it's disappointed me the past few years.

It's mostly just infomercials and dumb ass reality TV shows that everyone thinks is real.

I hope the guy in the punisher will be good, loved the first one.

Yeah.. well the second movie has a 3.7 out of 10 rating.

I almost want to see this movie just to see how horribly bad it can be like others are saying.

The day Dwayne Johnson gets back into Action/Non-Comedy more serious roles is the day that MTV will start playing music videos again.

You'll be seeing a lot of movies like this because DVD sales are where the money is at, and in a lot of ways movies have become cheaper to make (digital recording/editing, tax exemptions, ect).
You make a movie that has some sort of built in audience (example here are the fans of the Mummy series). Don't exceed 3-5 million in making it (that's what I've heard the magic number is for films on this level). Make a few million profit after DVD, international markets, and hospitality (airlines, hotels, ect) sales. Rinse. Repeat.

I am one of the people who hates it when the main actors get changed in movies as well especially when the actors did a really good job in the movie, If you have seen the mummy 3 commercials which is same producers as `scorpion king`, u will find that Rachel Weisz who played evelyn in mummy1 and mummy 2 doesnt have a role in the movie, and it is not even about egyptian mummies anymore, it is all about chinese mummies..

Speaking of really horrible sequels, I saw Lost Boys 2 the other day.. I know I joke around a lot about "worst movie I've ever seen", but seriously THAT was the worst movie I've ever seen...

The worst sequel that I have ever seen has to be Starship Troopers 2. I'm a movie nut and see about everything that comes out. I have a Block**buster.com membership and get all the direct to DVD crap sequels that come out.

ST2 might be the worst movie I have ever seen, but I haven't seen Road House 2 yet.

Wow, I didn't know they made a Lost Boys 2 either.

Seriously though, if you REALLY want to see the "worst movie ever", prepare yourself for TORTURE, and go and rent "Mazes and Monsters". It stars Tom Hanks. It was one of the first few movies he ever did, as in, pre Bachelor Party. It is unbelievably horrible.. it just drags on.. you watch it thinking it just has to get better, it's going to get better.. and although it teases you leading on that it *might* do so, it never does. In fact, it just get worse. LOL.

I highly recommend you to NOT see this movie.. but.. you know, if you're feeling like torturing yourself one day.. go ahead and rent the worst movie you'll ever see
