Hey guys!

I am moving to china permanently! I'll be in Dongguan which is only 40 minutes to Shenzhen! Which I belive is known as the "the world's factory".

Anybody want to do some business?

Yes, I am a chinese-AMERICAN and am going to China for business reasons.

But I am going to do ALOT of IM trial and error over there to see what works! From what I understand...

they don't have the "restrictions" on marketing that we have here in the good ol' USA!:D:D

That's the pollution capital LOL.
Hope the gov will start to do something one day. Zai jian!

HaHaHa you might be right about no restrictions on marketing (That's how we get rat poison in tooth paste and led in mouth wash) But they will be deep in your pocket. And most sites you visit will be on the banned list. But have a blast.

Yeah.. Goodluck and don't forget us! :p

as you stated above "the world's factory" thats right!!

i have some contacts in China, but they seem to be all resellers. I would like to get direct pricing on some of their products.

Well wishes and have the time of your life... I would love to go there in the next 2 years. Cheers to China!

I'm trying to get a passport so I can go there one day, your very lucky to be living there for buisness purposes.

hey living in china is a trip! if your chinese american your experience will be totally diffrent then mine but still a blast! Good Luck!

better learn how to spit... it is a must there. hahahhahaaaa..

good luck..

Is moving to china by smart businessman from europe/n america = millionaire???

I do hope that moving to China=MILLIONARE$$$!

I already have a large project in motion over there and hoping very much that many of the marketing methods..both black and white hat...will work over there.

only bad part about china is that they still are communists.
Which means lock you up and take your stuff no questions ask

best of luck

im curious as hell how and what you can get your hands on over there and shipping it to the US. could be a goldmine if you are from the US and know how to work it!!

keep in touch. id love to learn!

Yep! I agree! I know that I can get almost ANYTHING there! This isn't actually the first time I've been there I should say. I was there only 3 weeks ago on a "scouting mission" for my real business.

One word for it....AMAZING!

That is a very, very ameri-centric viewpoint!

It isn't like that at all nowadays! In fact, China in many respects is actually more free-market economy than here!

I kinda thought somewhat the same way a little until I went there and saw for myself.

true they don't have marketing restrictions but they do have internet restrictions.

They block so many sites and redirect it to their stupid directory/search engine site. They not only block websites (i.e. facebook) but they block content as well, for example, when I was in china (ok this may sound gross) I wanted to show my friend what blue waffle was (if you don't know, google it lol) nd it was blocked and google images for it was blocked too. Luckily you can get around it with a VPN and tunneling softwares. I recommend you download those before you leave American internet.

Aside from that as an American, you have health concerns like you can't drink the water because you can get parasites and nasty diseases (chinese natives usually build up immunity) and there is high air pollution with can cause asthma, lung cancer, and other diseases.

ANYWAYS, good luck, china is an emerging market and it's an amazing country and I hope you have success with your business there. I hope you know what you're doing though. There is so much money to be made there if you do it right. :D

Yeah, it depends where you go - deepest in to the country, deepest communism... The best thing is to have passport from respected country, they can kiss your ass then...
