A real advice for anyone who considers a hosting for blogging.

As you know that I was running many autoblog sites without problem with Lunarpages. However, these days I found out their dirty trick to push you choose an Dedicated upgrade whenever you site is bigger.
Here was the proof.
In their control panel, there is no "Resource statistic" which can tell you how much CPU or memory your site uses.

And you maybe will receive an email telling that your site is using too much CPU of the server, blablabla,... Then they will disable your site to protect others - Good reason, aha!

I decided to transfer some of my sites to Hostgator (Still using one month coupon Free ), then what I got is:

You can notice the CPU usage of my site in the hostgator Cpanel and know what I wanna say. I have no experience of other hosting companies, but I am sure about Lunarpages and Hostgator.

Hostgator is much better. I am running 8 autoblogs using the shared account without any problem.

You still have around 8 autoblogs on one Hostgator account, what plan? Are all same? What is Your posting frequency and hw much plugins ow WP-Robot do you use or how much feeds and posts at a time you leech?

Yeah, they are still running in the Baby plan. I used wp-robot. Post time is 12h-24h per keyword. Actually you can run more since I noticed the CPU is still safe.
Just notice that they don't permit warez or porn sites.

You can get away with warez pretty easily, had a warez site hosted on hostgator for about a year now, they've never mentioned anything to me about it.

Most webhosts are inferior when it comes to Wordpress hosting.

I do host autoblogs on many different hosts but Hostgator actually specializes in Wordpress hosting allowing you to push a button for installation and will actually give you support on technical issues involving the WP blog.

GoDaddy and others will not.

You can host about 7-10 highly active blogs (15-25 posts daily with multiple plugins running) on a baby plan at Hostgator.
