I'm all for sharing content and ideas. But... Lately I've seen some marketers using forum threads to get traffic to their blogs. Blatantly re-posting content to drive traffic.
A few days ago I posted on Vita Vees forum about all these scams in IM lately. Today Mark Dulisse releases a video on his blog about the exact same thing. Then he mails it out as an update to his list.
A month or so ago he did the same thing with the "get out of the sand box method". A guide shows up on here, he paraphrases the whole thing, and republishes it on his blog and mails it out as an update to his list.
I understand that this information is is freely available, which is part of the problem. Because guys like Mark aren't sharing sources, they are acting like they are the creators of this information.
I think that this is inline with those little forums you see re-posting top viewed threads from BHW.
I understand that guys like Mark want to position themselves as honest and reputable marketers, but come on. If you want to be honest, then say where you got the idea for all your blog posts. You're a fairly big marketer and it just hurts your image when you steal content.
