Twitter Follower Limit?

I cant seem to get above 2000 followers at the moment, is there meant to be a limit for how many people can follow you?

btw twitter is up to something again: everybody is with 0 following & 0 followers atm

yeah i noticed that for a second, but yeah stats are back, and now i finally broke the 2000 barrier. there is no follower limit. just following im at 2003 now, time to follow a buttload more people

that's good for the majority of twitter marketers here, but i follow mainly normal people, rather than promotional people. Anyways, im up to 2,022 followers now enjoying being beyond this limit for the first time ever.
