Autoblogging and RSS Feed Filtering & Cleaning

I have a question regarding cleaning up RSS feeds for autoblogs.
Does anyone have links to tutorials or methods of filtering feeds via Yahoo Pipes without losing original feed attributes like the fav icon & feed source?

I find that Yahoo Pipes adds the Yahoo favicon and attibutes the source to the Pipe name (if you are using the autoblogger wp plugin).

Is there any way around this?

OR are there any alternatives to Yahoo pipes?

How many RSS sources do you have? Because one way would be to examine the feeds you have and have a plugin written that's filter is finetuned to these sites only. You can hire someone do to it for like $30 I think!

Im sure it could be coded into the hacked version of whichever mod used.
But yea i wish i had the same capability actually.

I've got several - looking at 20-50 feeds per blog on average.
Would customisation work for a bulk of feeds?

I just Googled 'filter RSS feeds' - you'll find a RWW post about 6 ways to filter an RSS feed. There are a couple of interesting options on there - though untested (sorry I cant share links at the moment due to profile restrictions)
