For people working in the gambling industry, how has your experience with Google Ads been?
I'm interested in the certification requirements, eligible locations, and approval process. Does it depend mostly on the country and business type, or are there other important factors?

it's definitely possible, but i'd check the country requirements before spending anything. google doesn't treat every gambling business the same, and the rules for casino operators, betting sites and affiliates can be different. you'll also need to make sure your license, domain and landing page meet their requirements. one thing people might miss is that targeting multiple countries means applying for certification separately for each one. are you looking at running ads for an actual gambling site or an affiliate project?

Yes, a valid license and compliant website are important, but approval also depends on Google’s country-specific policies.

We need more specifics about what exactly you need. Different regions have different requirements. If it's allowed, you'll need a license, which you'll need to prove to Google.
As mukis said gambling is geo specific. I agree with him.

Google Ads can work for gaming businesses. You need to first start with a research process rather than spreading across different multiple campaigns.

You need to also identify the right keywords to target. You need to focus on the signups to deposit kind of keywords first instead of directly targeting the major ones. And also your geo as i saide earlier plays a major role when it comes to success in gambling.
