Backlinks still work for SEO on google?

Backlinks can help, but make sure the sites are related to your service and not just selling links.

Never tried this before, if i hired someone for backlinks for my new website which is related to kick services will it get results? let me know guys based on your experience based on your website niche/service
Backlinks can help your site rank if they are relevant to your niche and come from high authority websites.

Yes, The Backlinks are still working for SEO on Google. If the Backlinks are high Quality Backlinks.

Backlinks still matter for Google rankings, but the results depend on the quality and relevance of the links and how competitive your niche is.

For a new website, you can focus on adding quality content and proper on page SEO, then build relevant links gradually. Also, don’t judge a service by the number of backlinks alone. You can check the quality of the sites and it also depends on how consistently you're working.

Backlinks can help a new website, but I wouldn't expect quick results just from hiring someone to build them. It depends on the quality and relevance of the links, your competition, and how well your site is optimized. I'd start small, focus on relevant websites, and avoid cheap packages promising hundreds of backlinks. Also, make sure your content and on-page SEO are solid first. Better to build a strong foundation than spend money on links that may not bring any real value.

Anyone can recommend a good seller here on BHW?

Yes, backlinks can still help, especially from relevant websites with traffic. For your new site, focus on quality and niche relevance rather than just the number of links. Combine them with good content and on-page SEO for better results.

well yesh backlinks do make a difference, but i would caution against signing up to hire someone until i have seen how he or she does it. ask from where the backlinks are coming nd be cautious about services offering u hundreds of backlinks instantlly. for a new website i will try building some relevant links slowly.

Depending on your budget, invest it more on contents and social media posts while you build links slowly, and then trust me, you will get good results in the long run, not for quick results

I've seen backlinks help sometimes but focusing on useful content and real value usually makes the biggest difference for long term rankings

How much that would cost you think?

Yes, backlinks can still help, but results depend on the quality of the links and your overall SEO. For a new site, I’d focus on relevant links first.

Do this .
Backlinks still work for rankings, but you need to build them slowly and naturally.

In the first month, focus on press releases, social signals, and links from Quora, Reddit, and relevant forum discussions.

From month 2, start building foundation links.

Then, from month 3, move on to guest posts and niche edits.

The trick is to avoid overdoing it. Build links gradually and consistently rather than trying to get hundreds of links in a short period.
Hope it helps .

Of course, backlinks can be useful for a newly created website, but do not rush to create hundreds of links.

Create good-quality backlinks, work on your service pages, and become an authority in your topic.

Backlinking goes hand in hand with good on-page SEO.

Yes backlinks still work for seo but quality matters more than quantity. Focus on getting relevant backlinks from trusted websites in your niche. Avoid cheap spammy backlink packages. For a new website build backlinks gradually and combine them with quality content and proper on-page seo. Results take time so do not expect overnight rankings.

Yes, backlinks still help SEO in 2026, but focus on high-quality, niche-relevant links rather than buying cheap bulk backlinks.

Aom , before backlinks make sure of service pages optimization and target right search intent. then focus on relevancy palacement from legit site rather than chasing link voulme.

My approach to backlinking is to use it as an authority layer because Google needs that virtue of authority to be able to push your keyword. You should do more content and when you build the link build it for the purpose of increasing your domain authority solely. The rank will come.

That way you probably stop asking, "Does backlinking work?" because most people just want to build backlinks to supposedly just rank in a month or thereabouts. If you don't have the authority then there won't be any rank.

Think of backlinks as a long-term investment for authority and you have to be doing it consistently especially if you're local. In an area you want to make sure to get mentioned on local publications as much as you can
