If I live in Estonia, can I still get paid using AC?

Because at the moment when i try to publish something it says... No payment options available for non-legal residents of the United State

I think we are need of a sticky here in this forum because questions like this have been asked and answered all you need to do is search and find them.

However I am sure someone will come and say they cannot find the answer so here goes:

Legally speaking foreigners can NOT earn money from AC UNLESS they are Featured Contributors. That means NO page view payments (and before anyone ask that does mean NO upfront payment too)

Now if you want to work AC completely white hat, you can try to apply for a Featured Contributor position. Please read the following article for more information:

Now if you want to do AC blackhat, sign up as an American citizen and get paid, etc.
