Meta Ads Crashing in some Androids

I think these Android crashes pop up now and then and usually get fixed quietly after a few days, but nothing public has confirmed they're on it yet.

at this point i would not get too handsnon with the campaign. since the crash issue is affecting android users even when the ads look fine otherwise i do not think any changes to targeting would help here. what i would do is document the affected devices OS versions nd report that infformation to meta for investigation.

Same here, still seeing the issue. Haven’t seen any official update from Meta yet, but hopefully they’re already working on a fix because 3 days is a long time.

Yeah, hopefully Meta is already aware of it and working on a fix. Hopefully we’ll get some official confirmation soon

Agreed. I’m avoiding major campaign changes for now and documenting the affected devices/OS versions to report to Meta.

Same here. Three days is definitely concerning, so hopefully Meta provides an update soon.

It’ll ultimately have a negative impact on Meta if they can’t fix this.

I’ve seen similar reports, but it may be app or device specific rather than Meta Ads itself. Check whether the latest Facebook/Instagram app update fixes it and compare with other Android devices.

Yes, there has been reports of the crashes especially on google Playstore. Personally, mine was crashing when I first got it especially when I attempted to preview my active campaigns. But of recent, it has stopped, maybe an update fixed it, i am not so sure.

It could be related to the latest app update hopefully meta pushes a fix soon.

If it’s been happening for 3 days, it could be a buggy app update or a device-specific issue. Check recent user reports and app updates before reinstalling, since Meta may not have confirmed a fix yet.

I saw other users facing the same issue too. Clearing cache doesn't seem to help everyone, so using Ads Manager in a browser is probably the best workaround for now.
