I made the Pinterest account April 2025. Was not consistent in posting pins at all, but wkth 20-40 pins posted I was getting 30-40k monthly views until 4 months ago

and then I posted a few more pins and then I started growing in views until I had one day of 5k views then it dropped off to 30 views daily

after I logged in with a different ip address in third world country ip instead of USA ip address (not trying to shit on 3rd world countries i actually visited that country to visit my extended family months ago.

Then while I was in that other country for 2 months I inconsistently posted pins for a few days and I grew back my views too 800 views a day until I deleted all my pins at once (maybe 70-200 pins I deleted at once 2 months ago)

Then a few weeks later i posted maybe 10 pins and left it dormant until today 3 months later.

I changed niches on my Pinterest page but kept the same domain and branding and I also made 2 new pins in my new niche.

Should I make a new Pinterest account because I’m concerned if I shadowbanned and Im hoping I can keep my account and with some consistent effort and luck I can breathe back life to my account.

Any help you can give I would be grateful for

this was something i would definitely not give up on just yet. pinterest is somewhat of a fickle plattform, which will become somewhat of an issue when one stops using the account for quite a while nd then deletes a whole bunch of pins all at once.

You should start with a new account. Because you deleted hundreds of pins at once it can trigger severe spam flags, and completely changing your niche ruins whatever algorithmic categorization you had left.

It is significantly faster to build a fresh, targeted account than to attempt to revive one with a penalized trust score and confused topical authority.

Thanks i will try that. Can i use the same domain on the new account?

Yes you can reuse the same domain. Just please make sure to completely disconnect it from your penalized profile before claiming.
Thank you bro can i also use the same pins on my old acc to my new one ?

I would not suggest that because pinterest finds duplicate image hashes. If you use the exact same pins from a penalized account, your new profile will likely inherit the old spam flags.

Thanks so much for the advice! What is a safe amount of max pins per day?

You are welcome.
I would say stick to 1 to 5 pins per day.

Blasting too many pins early on will immediately trigger their spam filters again. You can try random number as well and once your account is old gradually you can do 15 pins per day as well.

i will give the current system one more chance.pinterest can be very unreliable nd the deletion of 70–200 pins at once as well as the change of niches makes data interprettation quite difficult.keep everything consisttent the same domain nd useful pins posted regularly nd the impressions will hopefully start coming back again.

I would n’t make a new account yet. The big pin delete + changing the niche can mess with the account signals, but that doesnt mean it’s dead. I d stick to one niche now and post consistently for a few weeks without deleting stuff again. Give the old account a proper chance before starting from zero.

Yes you can definitely revive it and it is actually better than creating a brand new account because older accounts already have some trust.

Don't rush to post too much right away otherwise Pinterest system might flag it as bot or spam behavior. First thing you should do is clean up your profile, make any irrelevant old boards secret, and start posting 3 to 5 fresh pins daily. Also make sure your keywords are well optimized in your titles and descriptions because Pinterest works mostly like a search engine. Just be consistent with quality pins and give it some time, the algorithm will slowly pick it up again.

Start by cleaning up old boards, repin fresh content, and follow relevant niches again. just remember the algorithm still favors consistent activity

you mentioned your views went back up to 800 a day while you were abroad, so i doubt the change from a US IP was the main problem. deleting up to 200 pins and then changing niche sounds more likely to have affected things. i wouldn't spend money on a US proxy just for this.

i would not take it as the reason for that change, especially considering that u have been receiving views even when u were out of the country. delletion of pins in hundreds as well as switching to another niche would appear to be stronger factors to consider.
