Wow, I knew ScrapeBox was a god of a tool. But my heartfelt thanks goes out to the creator/s of this amazing device.

I have just jumped on all my keyterms to the top 1 or 2 position in everything. The reason for being second is that I have yet to beat the king himself Wikipedia.

But after posting and chating with everyone I am still running on the free proxys that I harvest each day inside ScrapeBox.

All advice tells me to buy proxies. So I was not expecting such a HUGE response to my efforts.

Do I really NEED to purchase private proxys?

What usually is your success rate? I have gotten to 50% with free proxies, so for now I am using the free ones. I have only been using scrapebox for 3 days now but no noticeable results yet.

How are you using yours? Mass commenting on random blogs? or targeting similar niche? What about names/anchor text? Pinging backlinks? What are you harvesting?

The major difference of private proxys is the speed.

and for 30 bucks a month the time and effort required to continuously scrape public proxies.

i think it's recommended to use paid proxies when posting to have higher success rate and use free proxies when scraping, checking page rank, etc.

agreed. a poster above said he's getting a 50% success rate with free proxies; I just posted to over 48000 blogs today with private proxies and had a 55% success rate, a negligible difference.

however
one big difference which I did notice, was in the scraping of SE results. I tried the exact same keyword phrase with free proxies as with private proxies, and got ~300 results with free, ~1500 with paid.

that was my best result, usually around 30% is decent. I am still testing before I decide to get private proxies or not.

The private proxies are good for posting as they increase the acceptance rate!

Other than that free proxies are good for scraping :)

This is what I thought. But where is the best place to find reasonable proxies. I hear the 10 is enough. I see above a mention to 30 dollars. But what should I be looking for?

The rates I had with scrapebox approximately 30-40% and they are sticking. I think it has alot to do with the spinning and the content.

yourprivateproxy.com as recommended by scrapebox developers themselves

$30 a month for 10

all 10 of my yourprivateproxy proxies got flagged by akismet. gotta wait 2 weeks until next rotation.

the only options is to post without proxies. can it be a problem if my ip is dynamic?

GUYS use proxy bonanza, i use it... they say they dun support SB anymore but just list the proxies in this manner .. proxy:port:username:password in SB and works like a charm, really cheap also

All the blog software and hosting servers look for excessive inbound connections from the same IP. So we try to get around this by using more proxy connections then connections to the same domain in the attempt to look like normal traffic.

Also you need to spin your comments, names and emails so the same protection methods do not trigger a duplicate content flag.

SB is fantastic but take a lot of time to tune to your proxies and urls.

Eg. One day I posted 50k urls, spun comments using a 100k name and email list with 35 proxies. I got a %50 success.

The same day, some 5 hours after the 50k I used the same proxies, the same spinning comment and a new names and emails list. The success rate was %2.

Why?

Well I am in Europe so I get my proxies and work while the American continent is sleeping. When they get out of bed they start to work and burn out all my proxies.

So now I have everything scheduled so that I get the most out of each part of the day. URL harvesting from 6pm commenting from 10am.

An older name is back with proxies once again.

I hammer scrapebox using my own set of proxies and my comments stick like stink to a blanket!

I think you should always go with premium proxies. Just get one friend/client who you'll do some work for with ScrapeBox for $30 a month and you have your proxies free :)
We use 110 private proxies every month from a seller here on BHW and it's great, not comparable to free proxies in any ways!

Yes, I have to agree with WyzoMarketing here and say that private proxies are a much better way to go, and I'm not just saying this because of my advert in my sig below, I have been using scrapebox on my private proxies since I bought scrapebox months ago, long before I started up selling my proxies again.

*edit* oops, if my sig was actually showing I mean, heh.
