Selling software like Windows 7 etc on eBay

Hey guys, so I have a hookup with a friend in China. She sells Windows 7 Software and other windows software.

I'm a bit confused...

Looked on eBay and the competition is low for these and the profit is $$ big.

The product she's gonna sell me is not genuine? I'm guessing obviously not, but they still work yeah? Like does it work the same as a normal copy?

Like whats the deal with software like this?

Theres a reason why theres a big profit because no ones stupid enough to sell cracked versions of Windows

Thats what it is, its a cracked version that you can get from any torrent site. You could probably find a genunie copy somewhere if you searched hard enough

It just isnt possible. If your getting key from a source, and they work, they are going to be MSDA keys. Microsoft block these quicker than you can say Bill Gates is a... If you sell them within a matter of weeks you will have queues of people wanting to know why their key stopped working.

Ebay is going to stop you even before your auction goes live. And yes microsoft will sue you for sure. I myself run pirated copy of win7 and there is a way to crack it but selling pirated copy + crack is going to bring you lots of trouble.

they are not pirated they are actual keys from a microsoft retailer. I mean i am not giving them for cheap they still are expensive but since I get a lot of them they are cheaper

Seems unlikely that copies from China are anything but preactivated pirated copies. Don't know whether you are the OP principe, but legitimate OEM licenses might be fine, I have seen them for sale on ebay before.

You can't sell OEMs alone. You can install OEMs on a pc and sell the pc with the windows. If you want to sell only software then you need retail versions.

I was selling keys and discs on ebay for a while, made lots of money too, but then I got limited and paypal required supplier id, proof of eligibility to resell these items and proof of purchase. my supplier gave me all the documents but my account stayed the same and i have to wait 180 days to get my money. you will get caught and you will get limited! try "cqout", not as many users as ebay yet but no auction checkers so you can get away with selling keys and oem software!
also payments can not be reversed like paypal!!

Stop trying to play it off like they are legit keys, there is no microsoft software reseller that you know from china giving you great deals, they are counterfeits. Software is not easy to sell on eBay in big numbers and will ALWAYS lead to PayPal eventually limiting you and asking for supplier information.

I don't know if you think they're legit, or your just trying to make us believe they are, but I can guarantee you they are not.
