Reddit is getting stricter and stricter. Have any of you already chosen an alternative? Quora seems pretty much dead to me. Where can we go now?

istn twitter stricter then reddit and on top of that it doesnt get the organic buying traffic that Reddit did.
forums are dead thats why were on Reddit for the last few years

Still very possible on Reddit. We create and manage lots of accounts on iPhones. The key is a good warmup and doing it on iPhones non jailbroken as it s the most trusted you can get

I think LinkedIn is also a good alternative. However, managing multiple accounts on LinkedIn can be quite challenging as well.

how is linked in a good alternative? to rank in google? Ranking in google is a horrible strategy now. i lost alot of traffic from reddit cause alot of people arent going to reddit threads anymore from google it seems people dont use google much compared to before for organic search

I don't think there's a true Reddit replacement right now. Reddit may be getting stricter, but if you actually understand and follow each community's rules, it's still one of the best platforms out there. Smaller niche forums are worth exploring too, but the real challenge is finding one with an active community and the same level of engagement.

I agree reddit is probably the strongest for organic buying traffic. but we’ve had good results from X and Facebook too. X is not that stricter tbh.... there’s still good traffic if you know how to work the platform.
Facebook is also worth testing depending on the niche especially groups. I wouldn’t rule them out just because reddit is performing better... I hope you understand

havent tried x or facebook for marketing but i would think that it would require a whole new learning curve and probably not worth for me and most others who had a system with reddit ot start over trying it cause it would be a completely different way to market

Okay I get you. It definitely takes some time to learn each platform properly. Out of curiosity, what niche are you working in with reddit? Some niches work surprisingly well on X and facebook too

many niches actually but im having a hard time thinking of how i would build up something on x to target those kind of users. it took me years to fully get good at forum marketing
i think if i tried something so different like x i would fail miserably lol

It takes time to really figure out platforms and their people

Twitter threads and Lemmy are good for organic reach, but for pure SEO traffic and affiliate conversions, specialized niche forums are where the real money is at right now. Less strict moderation and higher buyer intent.

is lemmy even indexable in google? Ive never come across a random lemmy thread in google

linkedin and facebook can all bring good traffic too.it mostly depends on where your target audience is active
