[LINK] Chrome Is Overtaking FireFox

i use both. firefox will always have a warm place in my heart but yes im starting to lean towards using chrome more often. damn you google, will will you take over next.

if chrome wasnt made by google, I think I would have used it in a heartbeat when it came out. Its much faster, better and cleaner then firefox is right now. I can definently already see lots of early adapters using it.

I remembered reading somewhere in the forum that it's not safe if you use chrome for blackhatting, and aut0blogs?

If it doesn't crash daily, it has to be better than CrashFox.

Chrome = opportunity for Google to see exactly what you are doing...

Of course it is overtaking it, FF is barely better than IE nowadays.

Chrome, Opera, or Safari >Firefox

Chrome = opportunity for Google to see exactly what you are doing...
I agree with this.

With the release of Chrome, there has been a stimulation of competition in the browser market. At least there are article being written about the topic.
During their press conference, Google mentioned that a healthy eco-system with competition helps them. Seems like they are on track for that.
Additionally, with the introduction of Chrome, a new item has been added to the comparison checklist "independent processes for each tab".
In terms of competition, Google just put in a new "must have feature" that others will now have to duplicate in some form or another.
Given that Google does things in unconventional ways, perhaps Chrome version 0.2 is more than an early beta...perhaps it's the grain of sand that stimulates the oyster to create a pearl.

I just cant seem to switch i love firefox maybe ill give chrome another try

chrome is faster, but the current version seems still unstable..i always opened more than 10 tabs when working with browser.. seems that chrome tend to crash whenever u work using multiple tabs (more than 10).. maybe its just me. anyone experience the same?

Chrome, Firefox, who cares, as long as people stop using IE <= 7 ASAP so I don't go insane every time I have to write some CSS.

I'm just glad there is fair competition in the browser market. It'll create competition between all browser makers and in return they will all try to make the better browser.

Competition drives innovation.
