Hmm... Random thought here.
How many people here are actually football fanatics?... Like, do you watch football every weekend or play?
I guess this particular question might be more of a question for the lads (sorry ladies : D)
Football is probably one of those things where if you asked me, "What are you looking forward to this weekend?" without me overthinking it or already having plans, I would probably just say playing football and watching the weekend games.
And even at that, I wouldn't even call myself a die-hard football fan. It is more like one of the best ways I have to unwind and have some fun.
So there's always a high chance that whatever I did over the weekend involved football, either watching or playing, and most times both actually... 80% chance on both : D
And when I say I'm not die-hard, I mean I don't really get into emotional arguments with people about clubs, players, results and all that anymore.
I just gradually changed over the years... these days I don't really care enough to argue about it.
I just want to enjoy the fun football brings me without getting too attached to everything happening around it, and honestly that has worked pretty well for me.
Anyway, this post has somehow turned into a random thought dump on football.
I initially just wanted to ask how everyone's weekend went and what you did for fun, then it made me realise that the one thing I probably consistently do for fun on weekends is something related to football.
So yeah, how was your weekend... Did you do anything fun?
And since I have already somehow dragged football into this, if you watch or play football, what club do you support and how involved are you with football?
For me, it is more of an escape and a way to unwind, while I know for some people it is even a source of income through betting and other things : D
Anyway... drifting again : D
As for my own weekend, I mostly slept through the majority of Saturday, then I was awake pretty much all through Saturday night into Sunday morning working on some personal stuff.
Then I went for a run around 6:30 AM and did about 6 km.
Came back home, did some laundry and then slept a bit more here and there.
Nothing particularly exciting but not a bad weekend either.
Hope everyone has a good week ahead though.
Cheers : )
