Okay well I'm new to ebay, but I have found a product I could make money off of, low competition, high commission. Problem is, I don't know what to do! Do I basically set up a normal blog/micro niche site and post the ebay listings on there? Or how is it done?

Don't test the market with eBay if there is low competition, chances are you will earn more competition after a couple sales. I know, because this is sometimes how I find products.

You mentioned blogs, so I'm guessing you might have a little wordpress experience. WP eCommerce will work, and you can find someone who can change the design around a little to make it more personal and unique after a couple sales. Build links by created blogs and articles (reviews) about the product pointing to your website. If there are any forums that talk about your item, drop a couple links there and become a regular user. Also, charge a little more than you would on eBay.

Yes you are best to do it directly off your own site, then build links to the site and credibility from other traffic sources.
Ebay is okay, but if your product is any good the idea will spread and competition will show up.
Best of luck. Feel free to shoot me one of whatever you are offering and I will try and blast out a review for you even. I am easily bought with fre ebies, lol.

if you have found a good product, selling on ebay is one sales channel. Start looking into other channels like amazon, shopzilla or other channels. the more you have the more $$$ you can make

Hmm, ok can you share how did you actually find product?
how does people find good products?

Blogspot is the best solution if you have no clue how to start, set it up and then start learning

I know how to build sites and traffic.. I'm just new to ebay.
Products I will promote are usually $200-$400 and people buy them a lot.

To find products to sell, find something your interested in. Simple.

You can also get some hosting (like hostgator) and set up a wordpress blog (through fantastico on hostgator's cpanel) and you're off with your first site!

So.. content and then place ebay ads below?

dont send your site visitors to ebay! make them purchase your product on your site :)
