How the Hell do you Batch flash watermark images like this?? Tattoos

Just got back from Thailand , and I'm building a site for my mates Tattoo business in Phuket, and I need to have some copy protection for his unique designs.

I've tried many programs including Watermark master, This works fine for video but jpeg images just don't want to play ball. Maybe I need to convert the Jpegs into a Flash sequence first. I've spent a full day on this , very frustrating. I also need to do this as a batch , ie 1000's of jpegs .

I use PhotoWatermark Professional 7 by BrotherSoft. It doesn't do video but it's a champ at individual images. I used to use ver 4 or 5 but it failed on corrupt or wrong-extension images constantly. (I routinely process 50K+ so there's a lot of crap in there). Version 7 is a dream. Text watermarks, image watermarks, built-in transparency. Corrupt images it just cruises over and completes the batch come hell or high water. perfect for me.

My only complaint is that although it also resizes and converts, the resize options are hard-coded so I can't add my own. There may be a way around that but I haven't bothered to look. So I do basic image processing (format converting, resizing, etc) elsewhere then rip them through this.

It's a dream to use, powerful and stable.

P.S.: my script blocker killed the vast majority of your content/whatever delivery system so I couldn't really see what you're trying to watermark. Your site even popped some warning flags which I'd never seen before. Pretty hard to do: I work in adult and I thought I'd seen every stop-light my app could throw. But apparently not. Anyone without a good script blocker should prob not check this site.

But good luck anyway. The app I mentioned above is just great

Tattoojohnny is not my site , I'm just trying to emulate that protection , Its a very slick site , I'm in no way trying to compete with that

If I had to guess, the "watermark" is a flash animation that is overlapped on top of a movie clip that is loading external jpgs. Look up XML slideshows and you might find what you're looking for...

PhotoWatermark Professional 7 seems to be a great batch watermarker , But I don't think it can do what I want like create an overlayed dynamic flash object on a static jpeg . Anyone got any other ideas , surely theres a piece of software that just does this .

Helps to read the sites source code , This is done with some flash scripting called Dojo !! Never heard of it .

What that site is doing is using a flash movie that contains the source image. The image is inside the movie, not anywhere in the page itself. The javascript code you quoted replaces the flash with a fallback image if the user has an old flash version, but that's not what you see normally.

The image is actually on the server in another folder, the flash file have a bit of code that uses the variable passed as the location/name of the image.

If you can get away with images irfanview has a built in batch conversion tool which can allow you to add text. It is free and fast it's also quite powerful, has crop resize etc.
