Link Building Methods

Rigth now, for all my sites i am consistently building forum profiles on sites that have a high page rank for the domain. I am scraping these forums using scrapebox. Is there any other methods of building links that i should be aware of, can i get decent rankings with forum profiles and blog comments alone?

You can get improved rankings through this method, but the best thing you can do is continually add more content to your website.

While profile links are pretty effective especially in low to moderate competition niches you should mix things up a bit. Creating articles on article sites, web 2.0 properties, and wpmu blogs will help with that. I have found the mixture of articles, profile links, and some links directly from pages with PR to be fairly effective.

How do you get links from pages with PR, i have tried all the contacting the webmaster stuff and they just ignore me all the time lol. So far im doing blog commenting on wordpress and blogengine platforms using scrapebox and forum profile creation.

Should i start creating wordpress.com blogs and blogger blogs and throwing my links on there. I hate writing articles, it takes too much time for me so id ratrher stay a way from submitting to article directorys if i can.

I would always suggest varying your link building strategy as much as possible...

forum sigs
blog commenting
articles
press releases
social bookmarking
directory submission
etc....

Well I have purchased them in the past but I now have a small network of sites with PR of up to 5 that I use to link to mine. One thing I have started doing recently is trading links. I find someone else with some sites that they use for linking and I link to their sites in exchange for links to some of mine. It works out well, I leverage a few PR5 sites into a lot of PR5 links to my money sites.

I agree on the articles, honestly that was the first thing I started outsourcing. While I can write it takes me too long and would rather do just about anything else. The time saved was well worth the cost to me. You order 10 articles and then submit them to the directories and use them on your sites for content.

Like the guys above said. You need different type of links, not just profile links.

Start easily with 10-20 web directory submissions.
Write 1-2 articles / day. Use these articles on prlog and Articlesbase to point to your website
2-3 times / day go with the squidoo / hubpages / blogger / wordpress route.
Mix in with a twitter and a youtube channel + facebook page.
submit your rss feed everywhere
You can scrapebox spam the web 2.0 properties but don't touch your site with blackhat methods (yet).

That's it for the moment. There are many ways to do link building - just search around.

I used a linkbuilding strategy based on senuke + xrumer. I created a pyramidal structure with money site(cb product)-tier1-tier2.
I used:
article submissions
directory submissions
rss feed submissions
forum signatures
blog commenting

I blasted with xrumer only tier2 web 2.0 sites
This happened in about 2-3 weeks.

Still, I am on the second page of google for my primary keyword and on the 3rd page for other 2 keywords. This is my first project and I don't have much experience.My question is. why I am not on the first page yet ? because of the small number of pages of my domain indexed by google ? (only 7)

Dont forget to use scrapebox to do blog commenting as well instead of just scraping for forums. Although individually, blog comments do not carry much weight, each one adds up and they are pretty easy to do in volume through scrapebox. Just another tool to increase your link diversity
