Does AI add hidden watermarks in text?

We all know AI images include hidden watermarks so I'm wondering if it's the same for Text? do AI generated text have hidden watermarks? cause I tried using a random detector and it doesn't detect any unless the detector is crap

Yes, all the big services does that. Opensource LLMs on your own machine is the way to go if you don`t want it.

It's not hidden watermarks, it just repetitively used words by AI and sometimes AI can use ambiguous jargon for texts that don't even need it.
Sometimes you just know it.

I think it's not in the same way as AI images, there isn't a reliable hidden watermark in normal AI generated text that detectors can consistently identify.

Most AI detectors are basically guessing from writing patterns, so false positives and negatives are pretty common.

Have you ever seen AI use words that don’t really exist in dictionaries but are coined to please the user? It doesn't go beyond that, it is just text watermark in writing can be deleted if such exists. And how would it exist in text content if not through words? lol.

If the watermark disappears just by rewriting a few words, can it really be called watermark? Sounds more like AI writing patterns.
