Is it possible nowadays? Relies fully on high quality content is still feasible or not?

Of course, this is still possible. High quality and relevant content can work effectively as long as it meets the user intent and offers some real value.

Authority is still a huge ranking factor. Google is trying to push towards branding instead of authority but it may take some time. I've tried several times to rank in highly competitive niches but only parasites managed to rank. Some sites struggled to rank even with a ton of wikipedia backlinks and some high authority, niche relevant backlinks. Currently, we may have an edge due to AI tools and reddit. But I'm still not finding low authority sites in competitive niches.

In some specific cases, social media marketing helped some brands to quickly establish themselves, drive traffic, and rank better. But it may not work for low/medium budget sites.

Yes, it's possible, especially for low-to-medium competition keywords. But in competitive niches, high quality content alone usually isn't enough you also need strong topical authority, good technical SEO, internal linking,

No it won't. In theory we can say it is possible to rank a site with high quality content, on page seo and interlinking etc.. But when it comes to practically we cannot rank a site with high competitive keyword are not possible without backlinks IMO

It's can still be done though faster ranking is achieved when quality backlinks are involved. Making use of medium competition keywords, good technical SEO and a strong topical authority will help push that ranking in a competitive niche.

Quality content is still the foundation, but relying on content alone is much harder these days, especially in competitive niches. You need strong relevance and authority signals as well.

From a link building perspective, I would focus less on link volume and more on earning relevant, authoritative placements that strengthen the pages you actually want to rank.

good content gives people a reason to link; the right links help it compete.

certainly it is possible although it is going to depend on ur niche and the quality of your content. in low competition niches, having good topic coverrage nd good search intent can get u quite far even without link building. in highly competitive niches, however, backlinks may still play a role.

Only if you're targeting very specific low comp KWs in a saturated niche

I think it depends heavily on the competition. Good content alone can still rank for low competition keywords but in competitive niches, content usually needs additional authority signals to compete.

backlink is your site is more strong and creating trust and of course still possible.high quality and relevant content can still perform well as long as it matches what users are looking for and provides real value.

No. not in a genuinely competitive niche, and i dont believe most of the people saying yes either.

what usually happened in those stories is the site had links they didnt count as links. directory listings, a reddit thread, few social profiles, a mention somewhere passing something. thats still a profile, just an accidental one.

content only wins in niches where the competition also has nothing. soon as one competitor starts building content alone stops holding. been doing this for decades and never once seen a real money niche fall to content by itself.

good part is links stopped being the expensive bit. content used to cost more than the links lol, now its the other way round

Yes it is possible to rank your website without backlinks in less competitive niche as long as the content is relevant and it should be high quality aswell so that It can bring ranking.Though it is very hard to rank as the Google search engine takes long time to get results. It may not work in medium or low budget sites though.

Not competitive no. low and mid competition yeah, plenty of times with just content and internal links.

the moment I moved up to anything with real money behind it the content only thing stopped dead. had two pages stuck at 15-25 for months that only moved once I put some buffers behind them
