A drop in ranking alone doesn't mean you got hit with a manual penalty. I'd check GST for any Manual Actions first, then look into other possible reasons before jumping to that conclusion.

Sorry, I meant GSC, Google Search Console. You can check the Manual Actions section there to see if Google has issued any penalty.
