Posting multiple times a day is good or bad

I want to ask that posting on instagram like 2 3 times a day better our reach or it just divide the audiance because people say quality over quantity, 1 super good post a day is enough to get reach and followers on instagram,

Secondly i also have instagram page and it is 1 month old where i make movie reels but out of 35 post only 2 got really viral,

So what is the right answer for it ?

Id focus on quality and consistency rather than forcing 2–3 posts every day. For a new page 1 2 strong Reels can be enough if you’re testing different hooks topics and formats Also 2 viral posts out of 35 isn’t necessarily bad for a one month old account use those two as clues and figure out what made them perform better

I mean i tried the same way and same design as the viral post but the other post did go above 200 views

the viral one got 25k views

For a new account posting 2-3 times a day is fine for testing different hooks and finding what works but quality always wins once you establish your core audience.

Basically I advice you that, you should post 1-2 quality video per day with consistency, it will not gonna divide you audience if you keep posting with consistency

don't do things in rush, just go with the pace, if you are posting daily, then you should post daily and try to upload at a certain time , so instagram algorithm knows you best. It will take 2-3 months to mature your account. good luck

Two viral posts out of 35 is not bad for a one month old page. Keep trying different movie clips and see what your audience likes most.

25k against 200 view highlights how volatile reel can be. I will continue experimenting with the hook and opening second of my posts, instead of replicating the format of the viral video.

every other creator say hook is the main key, your first 2 seconds defines your all efforts

And yes 1 post a day is more than enough, you do 2 a day when you have good amount of existing audience and many of your posts have already gone viral.

In case of creating a new Instagram profile, I would create 1 to 2 gud reel on a daily basis without forcing myself to make 3 since I have learned the importance of the distinction between the hook and the topic from 25k & 200 view

I think 2-3 times a day might be a bit much tbh, especially for a new page. I’d just keep posting once a day for now and see what happens. If that reel is already going viral, you’re probably doing something right anyway

it all depends on the account and the quality of the content posted the more one posts the better he can try out different strategies but the posts should not be of poor quality it is necessary to measure reach viewing duration and engagement to determine the best posting frequency.

In my POV if we dont post quality content the couple times a day is also wasted then.

For movie reels, I’d say 1 to 2 solid posts a day is enough tbh, just focus more on the hook, editing, pacing & retention instead of spamming, cz one well edited reel can easily outperform 5 average ones.

The overall trend is ~2 posts a day, quality definitely over quantity though so don’t force it. Also mix up both long and short form content for overal better reach.

I think consistency & quality matter more than posting frequently 2-3 posts a day can be fine if the content is good. Since your page is still new keep experimenting & see what works best for your audience.

2 viral out of 35 is actually really good for a brand new page! Stick to 1 or 2 reels a day instead of forcing 3. Just focus on making the first few seconds super catchy.
