Question about VM/VPN/Incognito browser relation

Hey,

I am starting this topic to clarify some things and put all into one place. I want to ask some questions about VM, VPN and Incognito browser and how they relate to each other. Let`s leave proxy out of the equation for the moment.

I am currently Warming up 2-3 accounts in twitter. I am using VM + Adspower with fingerprinting (this guide https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-manage-and-run-multiple-accounts-a-basic-guide.1807112/
). However, I have red on here that VM can generate some additional signals for twitter which might help its algorithm to link my accounts with each other. Is that true? How is it serious in my situation? Guessing this issue grows with scale, so getting cheap laptop to run 10+ accounts is better then doing this with incognito browser inside VM on my PC?

How VPN fits here? From what I understand, incognito browser stops working as soon as connection with proxy is lost (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/vpn-proxy-end-on-desktop-antidetect.1815924/). Si there is no way for my IP to leak? Is this tested by users? Does going super paranoid and using VPN over proxy might generate some additional fingerprinting?

adspower handles most of the fingerprint masking so vm detection isnt really the problem. bigger thing is randomizing your behavior between profiles - typing speed, sleep patterns, click patterns. thats whats actually gonna keep them from linking. different profiles in adspower make each look like a separate person way more than worrying about vm signals

vm on top of adspower is kinda redundant, twitter isnt linking you because of the vm, its mostly ip and behavior patterns. at 2-3 accounts dont waste money on a second laptop, put it into decent mobile or resi proxies instead. and dont stack a vpn under the antidetect, all your profiles end up sharing one exit ip which is worse then no vpn at all.

The VM itself isn't what links them; identical timezone, locale and screen values across profiles are, and those follow the profile rather than the machine. A second laptop only helps if the network changes too, otherwise you've paid twice for the same fingerprint. Stacking a VPN over the proxy mostly adds mismatch risk, DNS and timezone, rather than cover.

Thank you for your answer. Btw - incognito browser focus only on fingerprinting, so is there software that helps randomize typing/patterns etc between accounts?

I think they have the option to paste text as if they’re typing, and they can set a different typing speed for each profile. Is that what you mean?
