I wouldn’t necessarily qualify it as wealth, but I once sent a couple SOL into my coinbase account to cash it out, then proceeded to totally forget about it because I rarely use CEXs (mainly DeFi) & a year later SOL went from like $20 to almost $300 per coin. Nice little payday.

Yes, I was sitting in a Starbucks in Bangkok when I accidentally opened BHW and saw someone made a thread about the TRUMP coin. I immediately bought it at $6, then bought more and more when it was at $10-15. Later on sold it at $50. Made me around $30k within two days.

Cool. I remember that thread but I did not took any action that time. Glad at least some members made money based on that thread.

yeah, crypto is weird like that... half the big wins sound like somebody just forgot they owned it for a year. the rest is usually sell too early or watch it vanish, no middle ground lol

Too many stories also of scammers ripping people off with crypto. The number of big balance BTC hasn't grown. I have no hope for crypto, if it falls to 3-5k BTC again maybe I'll pick one up.

I watched it early on before it hit a cent and used to tell people about it at high school in like 2009. Never made money with it myself because of scammers. Even my step cousin got ripped by a partner who was holding his. My uncle lost to BTC mining scam. Lots of the cloud ones too are not profitable along with mining in US because electricity costs.. The whole thing is a pyramid structure designed to make it seem scarce. 21 million BTC, so what, might as well be tulips.

You seem interested to some extent. If you take some basic steps, you can avoid these scams.
