Do you think SEO may cease to exist?

Yes that’s possible but most likely it won’t happen anytime soon. AI is already taking over slowly major search engines.

Every new technology changes the way we do SEO, but the main goal stays the same: making content visible and useful.

I don’t think SEO will just disappear. It may just change, and we may have to focus on getting content seen on other platforms too.

It will change, not go away but completely change in the sense of what the users will see on google as a result, and what it takes you as a business owner to be listed in those results.

There’s no way SEO is going to become obsolete, it will simply evolve along with search behavior. Even in an AI-driven search environment, there is always a need for making content searcable and credible.

Do you think it's even possible? For example, if a completely new way of searching for information appears and takes root (I find it hard to imagine what, but still), then what will happen to this industry and all the specialists?
i believe that the profession would devellop in lieu of its death. with any change in how people access information, there will be a corresponding change in the skills needed. those individuals who acquire the skill set early on will have the edge.

I don’t think SEO disappears, it just changes shape.

If search moves more toward AI answers, people will still need to optimize content, entities, brand mentions and sources so those systems can find and trust them. The job changes, but the need for visibility stays.

I don’t think SEO will disappear It will evolve as search changes from traditional rankings to AI answers and other discovery methods The core skill of helping people find your content will still matter

SEO won't completely disappear, but it will continue to evolve.

sure, the importance of the term SEO would fade away, but the art of branding in itself would not become redundant. on the contrary the need of the hou is to know how people search for information.

Not so soon. Might be possible in future and AI will be one the most probable reason behind it.

SEO is not going to die out it is just going to adapt with the changes in search Perhaps the focus will shift from being ranked to being visible via AI responses search engines or something else altogether evolving seo experts are going to see many opportunities ahead of them.

I don't think SEO will disappear completely, but it will keep changing. Search may evolve from traditional results to AI answers and other platforms, so the skills may shift from ranking pages to making information discoverable and trusted across different systems
Right. SEO will have more chances of evolving as comared to its disapparance. The emphasis may shift from merely ranking websites to ensuring that your brand and content gets surfced on search and AI engines.

Maybe SEO isn’t dead; what is for sure is that the way of doing the optimization has definitely changed. we went from keywords to intent, entitieBand even AI systems and the goal still stands—to be found.

If people stop using search engines, websites will need to find other ways to get attention. That could create new work for SEO people instead of ending the industry.

I do not think that SEO is going to go away anytime soon; it is simply going to keep evolving. SEO has evolved from keyword to intents, entities, ai search and so on. It is those people who can adapt that will be relevant in my view.

I don't think SEO will be disappear, it will be simply evolve as search engines and user behavior continue to change.

Yeah, definitely possible. I think the industry would evolve rather than disappear. Search changes, but the need to help people discover trustworthy information/products probably won’t. The specialists who adapt will have the advantage.
