Can someone PLEASE explain the point of Scrapebox

Guys I've been using it for months and I've just about given up on it;

Over the past few days take the following stats;

harvested 325,000 URLS (all wordpress)
Removed duplicates...left with 28,248
Set a post going
After 5 days I checked links
14 backlinks found!!!

So please someone tell me what the point is....as clearly I'm doing something wrong.

Seems you thought you bought an automatic money printing machine. Try to forget everything you know about it and start over from step 1 - read tutorials, read here and so on.

I've never seen your method posted. Where in the world did you come up with harvesting 325K links? How old those links must be and do you seriously think they're still open. I agree with previous poster. Forget everything you "think" you know about SB and start from scratch. You totally missed the basic concept.

Lol u seriously expect backlinks to appear instantly. What you have to realise is the more you rely on automation, the less quality work gets done. If you can run scrapebox and comment on thousands of blogs this means those blogs are

1) spammed to death rendering links next to useless or transferring 0.00001 pagerank etc
2) probably penalised by google anyway or banned and won't do anything for your site

Scrapebox used properly means you do a search for blogs, use the PR checker to find good quality blogs and write unique comments that stick, preferably with your anchor text.

A good link on a high PR site beats 10,000 on link farms imho

Any chance you can summarize what you told that guy over skype? Im in a pretty similar situation, would really appreciate a kick in the right direction.

you are using it wrong.. the points of sb is to scrape a lot of high PR website and then GO AND MANUALLY contribute to the site
If you spam, you will only get links on site that are autoapprove and aren't worth shit

Scrapebox is good for finding blogs and commenting on them. Spamming them won't work.
It's also a good keyword research tool + Footprint search at its fastest... Nothing beats this.

I almost don't use it for commenting.. It can be fairly dangerous if you don't do it properly.

I for 1 am not manually commenting shit but this topic. I am not going to manually comment a list of 100K blogs. Nor hire anyone to do it. I autosubmit all day long and everything I do ALWAYS works. Your comments have to be smart and general so that they can apply to anything. The main focus is the backlink.

some good info over here. i just purchase scrapebox and using the method under the post named "*SICK* ScrapeBox Method for Finding & AUTOMATICALLY GETTING Your Competitors Backlinks". I see this to work best. I had a pretty decent sized list of keywords but ended up with a handful of links that had no relevance to my niche. I prefer them to have relevance...am i correct in thinking this way???
