I see abondoned account of old people who dont post anything there... it looks like the facebook peak was somewhere in 2013-2017 then it dried out and young generations are on tiktok , instagram... less people go to facebook.... I havent logged into my account since 2022

Is facebook still an active and growing social media?

I think people judge Facebook too much by their own feed. It can look dead if nobody is posting personal updates, but that doesn’t tell you much about groups, marketplace or local pages. Test it with the actual audience and offer before writing it off completely.

Younger demographics have switched to using TikTok or Instagram, leaving Facebook with activity primarily confined to groups for older adults.

Facebook is so much fun and live, you need to follow pages and people to make your feed more lively than just using it to add people you know.

Younger people use mostly TikTok. Instagram, but older people are using facebook.

Not necessarily; Facebook remains a thriving social network with a massive user base.

No it is replaced by Instagram. Zuck realized it before anyone else and thus purchased Instagram already.

In some region I think Facebook users are declined significantly. However in developing countries Facebook is still now a popular platform. So Facebook has still hope I presume.

TikTok and Instagram are popular with younger users, but Facebook still has plenty of active communities, especially around specific interests and hobbies.

It’s mainly a boomer platform, but theres definitely good traffic methods on there. Younger generations have mainly moved on to IG, TikTok.

Tiktok is also replacing instagram... Tiktok is just a 99% identical copy, their algorithem is something instagram is missing, Tiktok looks like a bit less moderated and reckless

That's completely wrong. Nowadays, young people use TikTok and Instagram, but they still use Facebook, they just don't have as much time as before. Furthermore, Facebook Reel is currently booming and attracting a large number of young people.
I don't know about you, but when you ask younger people for social media, they mostly say instagram/TikTok, while older people prefer Facebook.

Nope, Only the old ones, they are shifting too. Facebook will be gone in next 10 years.

I think that even though young people don't spend as much time on Facebook, everyone will eventually have a Facebook account, and the time people spend on Facebook is transferred to other platforms through short videos. Facebook is still a market worth cultivating.

Facebook groups are very active but not sure how many people still use it to connect socially like the old days

Facebook may be used differently now, but there are still plenty of active communities

Yeah, Facebook is still pretty active, but I feel like younger people have mostly moved over to TikTok and Instagram. Because every platform has its peak and eventually its decline.
