Reddit auto-filtered my post for 6-7hrs, then it went live, anyone know why?

Posted something on Reddit and it must've gotten caught in Reddit's site-wide spam filter (not a subreddit-specific AutoMod removal, I checked, no mod action/removal reason shown). Checked in incognito mode - it shows Reddit filtered my post

After that it suddenly after 12 hours later I checked the post around 5-6 hours ago it visible to everyone means After I post after 6 hours later reddit filtered removed automatically it became visible to everyone, started getting comments, and karma started showing up. No message from Reddit admins, no "approved" notification, nothing in my inbox.

Anyone knows the reason ?

it was probably held by reddit’s spam filter for review, then automatically released or approved later.

the genuine most likely reason for this: Reddit filtered posts still arrive in the moderators review queue on the subreddits mod dashboard, when a mod approves your post manually from the dashboard it goes live on the subreddit and removes the reddit filter.

There is a possibility that your post isn't reviewed since yet and it need to be approved by a moderator.so yea you should wait for it to be reviewed by a moderator after that you post can remove the reddit filter.

Reddit can sometimes delay a post before it appears. This can happen for different reasons and a delay does not always mean there is a problem with the post. If it appeared later without changes, it was likely just a temporary delay.

Could just be a delayed spam check. Reddit filter sometimes hold a post for a while and then let it through. If it became visible on its own and started getting comments, I wouldn't worry too much about it

You can tell them apart by repeating the observation. Post again in the same subreddit and time the gap. A constant gap points at machine review, since batched checks repeat the same interval. A gap that moves around and lines up with when the mods are awake points at a human queue.

The reason it matters: if it's the filter, the lever is your account and link history. If it's the queue, the lever is that subreddit's rules and how a new name reads there.

Conclusions of my Post : First of all thanks to all forum who let me understand the fact not fully but partially they helped a lot...

Here the explanation : So Reddit Filtered post in Subreddit because of Lowest CQS...

Tthe moderator of the subreddit have enabled Reputation filter, lowest CQS means potential spammer so reddit filtered it...
If reputation high moderate reputation filter then only Moderate CQS and High CQS account's post will be instantly visible but low and lowest CQS account will be held for manual review.

Most of the moderator never check those post.... that's that was unusual for me as that subreddit admin usually check those posts and approved if no problem.

Your post likely triggered a soft filter either a specific keyword or link pattern and sometimes it’s just the problems of a low cqs account

The timing is interesting but also check whether the post had links, certain keywords or anything else that could have triggered the filter. Comparing it with a normal text post might give you a cleaner answer

Their spam filter can be really inconsistent. I would not worry about it if the post is getting normal reach now.

the most probable cause for the phenomenon is probably that the reddits filter sends the post first to the moderators review queue.if the moderator approves it from the mod dashboard the post can be posted regularly without any further issues with the filter.

This can happen when a post gets caught by Reddit or subreddit spam filters and is later approved or released There can also be account age karma or reputation signals involved so it does not always mean the post actually broke a rule

Could simply be a delayed spam-filter check If the post eventually appeared on its own and started receiving comments and karma I’d assume Reddit released it after the temporary hold
