With increasingly strict rules and policies, small businesses have to invest a significant amount of resources into operations, content, advertising, order fulfillment, and customer service just to run things effectively.
Compared to selling directly, affiliate marketing is much simpler from an operational perspective. Sellers have to take care of the entire system behind the scenes, while KOLs/KOCs can focus primarily on creating content and driving conversions, and the reality is successful KOLs/KOCs can make a tremendous amount of money through affiliate marketing, I’m really not exaggerating

Currently, only a few countries are permitted to sell on TikTok. it would be great if we could tap into that.

People definitely open TikTok Shops as sellers, but you see fewer of them discussing it because running inventory and fulfillment is much riskier and more complex than posting affiliate links.
