Advice for getting my US green card

I am from europe and I want to move to US. My goal is to obtain the green card cause I want to remain in US forever. Anyone who did that and is open to share his way and give me some tips?

Marrying someone is the fastest, or you can go on a student visa and then try to get a job to eventually get a green card, but that will be a slow process.
