I have around 30 iPhones, mostly versions 6, 7, and 8. I noticed that I can only install the Reddit app on the iPhone 8. The older iPhone 6 and 7 models no longer support the Reddit app. TikTok works fine on them, though, and I’d like to use these phones for Reddit accounts as well.

Does Reddit work well through a mobile browser? Is there any advantage to using Reddit through the mobile browser, or is it basically the same as using an antidetect browser on a PC without the app?

Thanks!

Yes, Reddit works on Safari on iPhone 6 and 7. You can browse, post, comment, and vote. It’s not as smooth as the app, but it works fine. Just keep in mind that a mobile browser isn’t the same thing as an antidetect browser.

Yes and I actually recommend it. Through the app, Reddit have huge control over your phone's fingerprints.

You've already got physical isolation. For iPhone 6 and 7, even if the Reddit app is out of reach, running Reddit through Safari is fine. Also you need to get a static residential proxy for each device that match the account's region.

Like safari private browser mode?

Accessing Reddit via Safari still works well. Additionally, you need to set up a static residential proxy for each device that matches the account's region.

reddit can also work through mobile browsers. It officially supports Safari, Chrome and Firefox on iOS. Older iPhones can actually be better suited to mobile web since the current Reddit app requires iOS 16+.

I suggest you should use the browser normally instead of treating it as an anti detect setup.

Given your current iOS versions, stay away from the apps. Log in through the web interface but most importantly, setup static residential proxies on each of the devices tuned to your location.

Yes Reddit will work fine on the browsers's of the phones. You can do everything from there.
