Have you ever tried to hypnotize yourself?

I never tried it, but apparently some people are doing that to sleep better, cope personal issues or even be more productive.

What is your take on this matter? If you tried it, what were the results and benefits?

You mean meditation?

Be careful messing around with your mind, it can have unexpected results, most of the stuff out there is not real anyway thankfully. The real stuff left is very rare and more interesting. However your constant positive affirmations, verbalizing, visualizing, and feeling your wishes will eventually manifest. So in a way it works like meditation.

Actually it didn't work on me. I tried 'insight timer' app where I found some sleep music and sleep guide. This helped me a lot to sleep better. You can try. I hope you will not regret.

In the same vain, I like to do a bit of conditioning, such as eating fewer sugary things and working out more consistently. It’s a little like self-hypnosis in a way, semantics be damned.
