I’m trying to figure out the cleanest way to run one TikTok account aimed at a US audience while I’m outside the US.

I’m not building a TikTok farm or managing dozens of accounts. This is just one account for my own project.

Right now I’m using AdsPower + a US proxy on desktop, but when I upload a video it often stays stuck at 0 views, so I’m guessing TikTok doesn’t like something about the setup.

For someone only running one account, what would you recommend?
  • Can this be done reliably from desktop?
  • Is an emulator worth trying?
  • Or is a physical iPhone with a US proxy/network setup the better option?
  • If you’re using a physical iPhone, what does a simple setup look like?
Main goal is just to have the account consistently reach a US audience without overcomplicating it.

The best approach is physical iPhone with Shadowrocket app for proxy and US residential proxy from a good provider. Check the IP in any IP checker before usage. It must show US location and have no warnings. Also with this proxy TikTok must show +1 phone code by default when opening.

Yes it can be done reliably from desktop

For one account I’d avoid stacking too many tools a normal phone and consistent account setup should be enough to test whether the issue is actually the device or network.

I would start with factory restting the device and truning off location tracking from the very beginning.

if you can get your hands on a US sim card that would be perfect signaling for the app.

For one account, I'd keep it simple: use the normal TikTok app on a physical phone and avoid constantly changing proxies or environments.

Focus on US-focused content, language, topics and keywords. A US proxy alone won't guarantee US reach, and if you're getting 0 views from AdsPower, I'd test posting from the regular app first.

I use adspower with voidmob dedicated mobile proxy (proxy TCP/IP fingerprint set to iOS, while adspower is set to Mac OS). Works like a clock for meta/tiktok. All you need are matching fingerprints and high quality mobile proxy.

The best way is using mobile proxy 4g/5g, if you wanna use anti detect browser don't use a free proxy and buy residential ip

For one account, a physical iPhone is probably the easiest. Keep the setup consistent and focus on making content for a US audience.
