Need Your suggestions - Planning to start on wholeselling from China

My friend is a Chinese supplier with his own shipping channel. I got an offer to join him in September or October and expand the network globally. I worked with many Amazon sellers 4-5 years ago, selling and sourcing for them, but have never done anything at this scale.

My friend has direct connection with all the manufacturers who are not actively selling on Alibaba or other online marketplaces. I would have access to them too once I join.

If you guys know which products have high demand currently, it would be very helpful for me to start. I would also appreciate it if you could give me some places to land repetitive buys.
